Wedding Photography: Goldstone Hall Hotel – Emma and Rick

We were at the gorgeous surroundings of Goldstone Hall Hotel near Market Drayton in Shropshire for the outdoor wedding of Emma and Rick. Goldstone Hall Hotel is located in very rural Shropshire and the medieval Georgian hand made red brick Hall is situated in the lee of Goldstone Hill.

The ceremony took place outdoors in the beautiful open fire-warmed Oak Pavillion set in the well maintained gardens the hotel boasts. Bridal preparations were inside the hotel as the Groom, his two Best Men and the guests arrived.

The gentle rain failed to dampen the spirits and after the ceremony and confetti the guests headed back inside. The Bride and Groom braved the weather to take advantage of the stunning autumnal colours that surrounded Goldstone Hall Hotel at this time of the year.

After the speeches and wedding breakfast we took advantage in a break in the rain with some more Bride and Groom photos as well as the family photos and full group shot. Being November 5th it seemed only appropriate to get some sparkler photos! The Oak Pavillion made for a wonderfully lit evening backdrop to all these photos before the evening entertainment involving duo Baxter and Rick’s band Son of Shinobi.
