We have previously undertaken several commissions for popular local online boutique Boutique J2S. Boutique owner Jules has grown her online boutique and is currently renewing her website and wanted some new images to fit into various areas of the new site.
Commercial Photography: Manchester City FC
Location: Etihad Lounge, Manchester Airport

We were commissioned to get a small set of images of the Manchester City FC squad at Manchester Airport at the Etihad Lounge prior to flying out to Dubai at the end of the season. The team celebrated winning the Premier League with an open top bus tour around Manchester before heading over to the airport to jet over to Dubai with the club’s main sponsors, Etihad Airways.

Local company Crewe Orlando are launching a new salon gown range and needed a set of photos for marketing purposes. Crewe Orlando supply wholesalers with salon furniture, salon gowns, hair brushes, scissors etc.

We were recently commissioned to produce a set of portrait images of Heather Carter, founder of the 1st National Sales Academy. I spent some time to get to know Heather so I could really represent Heather in the portrait photography. I decided to photograph Heather in her workplace, as well as a few outdoor shots to compliment the selection.
Heather is currently using the portrait photos on her social media profiles. The images were also used in a short promotional video as stills overlaying audio. Heather is a thoroughly engaging character and I had great fun meeting and photographing her!

The Swansway Group head office is in Crewe, Cheshire. Our first commission with The Swansway Group was to create a set of images to celebrate their Award as 37th in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For list. Every year The Swansway Group hold their Long Service Dinner at Crewe Hall Hotel in Cheshire. Simon J. Newbury Photography were commissioned to photograph the event, as last year. As well as the presentation of the long service pins to all their employees from across the North West who have been with the company for five years and ten years the evening has entertainment and a presentation by the company directors.

We’ve recently been doing lots of photography for the brand new Olio & Farina website. Olio & Farina is a restaurant in Taunton, Somerset and we have paid a few visits to the restaurant to photograph the restaurant and also done some studio photography of some Italian themed food.
The restaurant have recently taken on a new chef and he has brought in a new menu. We popped down to Somerset to make a portrait of the new chef for the new website and also do some food photography of the new menu!
We also did some commercial photography of some products on sale in the lead up to Christmas all to help create a professional edge to the website and to help generate traffic for the site.
The food photography shows the range of dishes on offer at Olio & Farina in Taunton.

Back in January we travelled down to Taunton in Somerset to photograph Olio & Farina. We got a good set of interior images of the restaurant for their planned new website.
We recently added to that set of photographs with some images to really set the scene for an Italian restaurant. We were commissioned to make a set of images that really helped create a Mediterranean atmosphere. The smells in the studio were great with fresh herbs, olives, Parma ham, garlic and tomatoes all part of the props for the photography! Of course, what Italian themes food photo shoot would be complete without pasta. We had about six different types and created a nice set of images to compliment the interior shots! My favourite to photograph has to be the tagliatelle!
The Olio & Farina website has now launched with all the photography supplied by Simon J. Newbury Photography.

Client: Calico Heslop Make Up Artist

Simon J. Newbury Photography were asked to produce a set of commercial images for Calico Heslop. Calico is a make up artist and needed a professional set of photographs for online use and for social media to advertise her services.
We held a studio photoshoot to create a nice set of images to show off Calico’s wonderful work. Calico brought along four models and we had a great shoot in Crewe.
Calico said:
When we arrived at the shoot location they had set everything up and were ready and waiting to go. They were patient and great with my models, who I think felt much more at ease after only a few minutes in front of the camera. Simon was very willing to listen to what I wanted from the shots and really got what I was trying to achieve for each model. I was completely happy with their service, from start to finish, including the editing of the final pictures done by Tina, which I thought were fab!

The new football season is nearly here and there is a lot of anticipation at The Weaver Stadium ahead of Nantwich Town’s first season under new manager Danny Johnson. There has been a lot of transfer activity at the club with a lot of new arrivals.
The club has a new look home and away kit this term with the sponsors, County Insurance from Crewe, signing up for another season of sponsoring both kits. The new logo is much bolder than last year and should show up very well in the match action shots!
Nantwich Town Chairman Jon Gold has decided to make some large advertising boards with the new kit photographs. The photos will be displayed at life size at the club’s Weaver Stadium!
