Simon J. Newbury Photography were commissioned to photograph the wedding of Emma and Duncan at Crewe Register Office. It was by far the smallest wedding party we have ever photographed, just five including the bride and groom! The photography team nearly doubled the number of guests! Given the size of the wedding party, the wedding ceremony was conducted in the more intimate Register Office on the ground floor of the Municipal Buildings in Crewe. After the ceremony we did some photos in the lovely settings of the Mayor’s Reception Room upstairs (where all the larger weddings take place). We also made use of the beautiful staircase where we produced one of our favourite wedding photos of 2014!

We had the very great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Shona and Craig at Elworth Methodist Church, Sandbach followed by the reception at Wychwood Park. The bridal preparations took place at the Bride’s parents home in Sandbach.

For over 40 years the faithful troops of The Sealed Knot have gathered in the historic town of Nantwich, Cheshire to re-enact the bloody battle that took place almost 400 years ago and marked the end of the long and painful siege of the town.

Simon J. Newbury Photography has undertaken lots of photography for BIMM Manchester. Tina headed up to Manchester in December to photograph The BIMM Manchester Songwriting Showcase held at The Ruby Lounge. Over 20 new and developing artists performed original compositions spanning all genres to an excited audience of family and friends. The second show at Rebellion on Deansgate was the end of term gig. A set of BIMM acts performed a wide range of covers and original tracks to a cram-packed audience.

Pet photography can be quite demanding, and also very rewarding! We are both pet lovers and always enjoying photographing pets. We offer professional pet photography and shoot either on location (out in the park with dogs is great) or at home by bringing our mobile studio. For little kittens the mobile studio is always the preference. Firstly it keeps the kittens at ease by being in their own home, not heading out to an unknown studio with lots of strange surroundings and big lights and strange things. Secondly there is no end of favourite toys, treats and trouser legs to keep them entertained!

The photoshoot took place in Crewe and the band were happy to try out a range of poses and ideas.

We had the very great pleasure of photographing the winter wedding of Sam and Matt who chose The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel and Spa in Chester for their ceremony and wedding reception. We visited The Doubletree with Sam and Matt earlier in the year for the pre wedding photography session. It was a little warmer back then as we used the wonderful grounds of the hotel for the photos!
