Wedding Photography: Carolyn & Steve

Carolyn and Steve booked Simon J. Newbury Photography for their wedding photography in 2013. Their wedding date was 28th December, 2013. It was a beautiful winter wedding and although we weren’t blessed with snow the weather was very kind!

Carolyn and Steve opted for the Delamere Collection and we were with them all day. We started with the bridal preparations before heading of to St. John’s Methodist Church for a lovely ceremony and signing of the register. We had attended the wedding rehearsal in advance to plan where we would both be positioned during the service. St John’s is an unusual Church having two side aisles rather than the traditional central aisle.

After the service we headed over to Wychwood Park for some couple photos beside the lake and the group shots at the Golf Club gardens. Obviously light is quite precious in December so we ensured the outdoor bit of the photography was done efficiently and quickly. It’s no fun standing outside in December being photographed for ages!!

We photographed all the reception, including the speeches and toasts, cutting of the cake, the receiving line, the cutting of the cake and the first dance as well as a little of the party that followed!
