Jake Bugg performed at the Liverpool Echo Arena to a packed house. The huge arena can hold 11,000 guests and it was close to being full. Support on the night came from Irish band Hudson Taylor. We were back at Junction 16 on Saturday in the sun and with a 10,000 plus crowd. It was an action packed set with constant entertainment on stage or on the huge TV. It was a very quick turnaround between acts with loads of acts entertaining the huge crowd. Jedward were a late addition to the bill and were very popular, climbing the speaker stacks and jumping down into the pit to get close up with the fans at the front of the huge crowd. Pixie Lott was also very popular.

The final day of Kendal Calling 2014 saw the Main Stage headlined by Example. The Calling Out Stage was headlined by Frightened Rabbits. The Cumbria festival also saw performances from Tom Odell and Miles Kane. Zane Lowe also featured in the packed Glow Tent. Dario G also appeared on the House Party Stage.

We were both really pleased and excited to be photographing the Kendal Calling festival again this year. The festival won the Best Medium Festival Award last year and was back with a great lineup for 2014. We photographed many of the bands and DJs playing this year and were on site every day of the festival as we were at Kendal Calling 2013!

Sadly the weather was not so good this year meaning an awful lot of mud on the Cumbria site. The weather failed to dampen the spirits of the sell out audience however with fancy dress, mud football and a great atmosphere!
